At Hoosier Longhorns we are striving to build a herd that concentrates not just on one desirable trait but on all, including color, conformation, solid pedigrees, docile disposition, meat production, and of course the All Important Tip-To-Tip measurement!

With the genetics contributed from our senior herd bull, Gun Smoke, we are well on the way to doing just that. We are confident that Gun Smoke will produce not only in the horn department, but also color and conformation, which will help to Hoosier Longhorns contribute to the improvement of the Texas Longhorn Breed. The early horn growth that Gun Smoke throws crossed on our select cows, who come from family lines known for their ability to steadily put on tons of total horn should produce incredible results!
